Just to let everyone know, I will not be participating in the ORS mayoral forum. I have explained why I am uncomfortable with how the processes had been conducted. I am sympathetic to the continued concerns of numerous community leaders. And I don't feel it was appropriate to announce a forum mere days in advance.
The residents of Somerville will be well served by the six debates and forums already scheduled in the coming months and that will be more than sufficient for a robust discussion as we address the issues facing the city.

I am truly lucky that I was able to immigrate to the United States, that I was able to become a citizen. This is a wonderful home. I'm grateful for so many friends in Somerville. I hope that everyone will have a happy day with friends and family. Happy Holiday!
