During the pandemic, the City took ownership of the Armory to protect it as a creative hub.Mayor Ballantyne’s administration distributed $500,000 in grant support for the nonprofit Arts at the Armory, the building’s largest tenant, and created a new Master Plan shaped by community input. Thanks to Mayor Katjana’s leadership, the Armory building will continue to serve as a dynamic venue for diverse artistic expression and community engagement.
