To improve our aging infrastructure, Mayor Katjana
- Rebuilt Eastern Pearl Street, Powder House Boulevard, Holland Street, and more, to improve traffic flow and safety, and sustainability, and we completed Phase 1 of Highland Avenue’s repaving.
- Overhauled our sewer systems, spending $243 million on Somerville Ave. sewer overhaul, the Spring Hill Sewer Separation Project, and the massive Poplar Street Pump Station
- Expanded our techniques to reduce the rat population, something that is vitally important to our residents
- Installed nearly sixty traffic safety treatments each year, more than 150 treatments in total, including life-saving bike lanes, improved crossings, and speed humps
